How is this different from energy management?

Energy management tells you where the energy went and what it cost. Energy performance answers the harder question - compared to what? It builds the forecast and the baseline you measure against.

How far ahead does the forecast go?

It projects the current day, month or year from historical patterns. Treat it as a planning tool rather than a promise: the value is in comparing it against what actually happens.

Does Volts certify us for ISO 50001?

No. Certification is an auditor’s job. What Volts provides is the measurement and the weather-normalised baselines that the evidence rests on - which is usually the part that is missing.

What if we have less than a year of history?

Forecasts and baselines improve as history accumulates, so the first months are directional rather than final. Most sites start reading within weeks, so the clock starts earlier than a procurement cycle would suggest.
