How does Volts detect a possible leak?

It evaluates patterns such as persistent quiet-hour flow, a shifted minimum and main-to-submeter imbalance. The result is an investigation signal, not proof of a physical leak.

Do our existing water meters need replacing?

Not if they expose a reliable supported output and remain suitable for the intended use. The survey confirms whether each meter can be read directly, needs a reader or must be replaced.

Can one team watch dozens of sites?

Yes. Sites can share one hierarchy, map and exception view while keeping thresholds and operating periods specific to each location.

What happens after an alarm fires?

Volts can notify, create a task or propose a valve or relay action where one is connected. The selected response, approval and outcome remain recorded from first reading to closure.

Could overnight flow be legitimate?

Yes. Cleaning, production, irrigation, storage refill and occupancy can all create valid night use. Site-specific schedules and context must be reviewed before escalation.

Can Volts close a valve automatically?

Only where a supported actuator and a safe hydraulic design exist, with interlocks and approvals agreed at commissioning.

How quickly will we receive an alert?

Detection time depends on the reading interval and the communications path at that point, so it is agreed per site rather than promised in general.

How do we know the repair worked?
