Do we need a meter in every room?

Usually not. Start with the wings, floors and operating zones that can change a decision. Room-level metering is added only where the business case, infrastructure and privacy design justify it.

Will the system be visible to guests?

Retrofit equipment is normally placed in technical areas, and the work locations, outage windows and any room access are agreed during the survey. No zero-disruption promise should be made before survey.

Can schedules follow occupancy from the PMS?

Where a supported PMS or approved interface supplies an occupancy state, Volts can act on it at zone or floor level. Guest identity is not required for zone control.

Do we replace the hotel’s existing BMS?

No. Volts can connect above a supported BMS and retrofit selected gaps. Point ownership and local safety controls are defined before any write-enabled workflow is commissioned.

How do you protect guest comfort while reducing consumption?

Every schedule and approved action stays within the comfort bands the hotel sets. The result is evaluated against both energy and comfort evidence.

What guest or occupancy data does Volts store?

The integration uses occupancy state only - the minimum needed for the operating decision, and never guest identity.
